The project concerns the construction of the future Conservatory of Music, Dance and Theater of La Garenne-Colombes (92) named "Le Pavillon des Arts vivants".
The B+A Architectes agency was named the winner by the city to lead this new operation alongside the SAS MIZRAHI and ETAMINE design offices. CLARITY is in charge of the acoustic studies, the follow-up of the realization and the reception measurements.
The project consists of the creation of an auditorium, dance studios, a theater hall, rooms for practices and musical training as well as rehearsal studios.
One of the challenges of the project is to meet both the environmental challenges (wooden construction through FOB facades) and the high acoustic insulation needs. For this, we use the light or heavy box-in-a-box principle depending on the level of performance required.
The geometry of the premises and the finishes are designed to provide internal acoustics (reverberation) adapted to user practices.
