VIBRATIONS

CLARITY STUDIO is a vibration specialist specialising in characterising and estimating the vibratory behaviour of structures subject to vibratory excitation, such as rail traffic or the underground.

Our approach is organised as follows:Site survey, carrying out a vibration diagnosis: in order to analyse vibrations, acceleration levels and vibration speeds are collected using sensors such as accelerometers. This data is then analysed either to make predictive calculations of vibration-induced noise levels or to characterise whether thresholds for damage to structures, tactile perception or the correct operation of sensitive equipment (laboratories, manufacture of micro-components, etc.) have been exceeded.
Sizing anti-vibration solutions: also known as vibration decoupling or vibration isolation solutions, these are used to reduce undesirable vibration levels within buildings. They aim to improve comfort by limiting the perception of noise from vibrations, and to ensure the durability of buildings by limiting structural damage to structures subjected to excessive vibrations.
Technical coordination with the architect and the structural design office
Checks on the correct implementation of the vibration barriers by means of site visits and metrological interventions (vibration attenuation measures). These solutions include spring boxes, elastomeric resilient materials in the form of mats, strips, studs or buried vertical screens, anti-vibration tables and vibration damping systems. These solutions include spring boxes, elastomeric resilient materials in the form of mats, strips, studs or buried vertical screens, anti-vibration tables and anti-vibration suspension systems.
Anti-vibration solutions are chosen according to the specific needs of each situation. They can be used individually or in combination to achieve the required levels of vibration control.
