CONSTRUCTION NOISE

Site noise monitoring is a site management tool designed to minimise the undesirable noise impact generated by construction activities on the occupants of adjoining buildings. The aim is to limit noise and vibration disturbance for neighbouring residents, offices and hotels near construction sites in dense urban areas.

During the construction phase, CLARITY STUDIO will monitor construction site noise.

Our skills includeSite noise impact assessment: a predictive assessment of site noise makes it possible to anticipate noise nuisance problems and determine remedial solutions. To do this, we carry out initial measurement campaigns and environmental modelling, simulating the noise generated by the various works.
Definition of site noise monitoring systems: once the worksite is underway, regular monitoring of noise and/or vibration levels is necessary to ensure that the set thresholds are respected. We define the monitoring systems to be put in place. Measuring stations are installed to monitor noise and vibration levels in real time.
Follow-up of monitoring systems: monitoring data is stored and analysed to demonstrate compliance with set thresholds.  Our mission is to guide companies in their work methodology and deal with any complaints from local residents. We provide a weekly or monthly report to those involved in the works.
Technical assistance: if noise and/or vibration levels exceed authorised limits, additional mitigation measures may be required. This may include the use of noise barriers, changes to working methods or the introduction of more restrictive working hours.
