CLARITY STUDIO recently acquired this new acoustic measurement system using both the MLS (Maximum Length Sequence) and Sweep (Sliding Sine) methods. This new tool, which complies with the ISO 3382 standard, allows us to characterize the internal acoustics of a room by precisely measuring indicators such as reverberation time (TR), clarity (C80), definition (D50), etc.
For these measurements, we use an omnidirectional sound source and ARTA software to acquire data and analyze the results.
We recently used this new acquisition system for our diagnostic measurements of the internal acoustics of the magnificent Hall of the Institut du Conservatoire de Orléans. CLARITY is conducting the acoustic studies for this ambitious renovation project of the Orléans Music School, alongside the firm B+A Architectes.
