As part of the project to restructure 50 avenue des Champs Elysées in Paris, 8th arrondissement, CLARITY was commissioned to carry out the noise and vibration testing phase. Indeed, the operation is located in direct ownership of a hotel and offices.
A vibro-acoustic monitoring system was therefore deployed in order to continuously measure sound and vibration levels, and thus make it possible to guide the construction company, Spie Batignolles, in its site management strategy with low noise pollution.
The tests made it possible to define rules regarding the use of construction equipment (adaptation of demolition methods according to locations, time limitations, acoustic tarpaulins, anti-vibration mats for deposition of rubble).
The transformation of the former Gaumont Ambassade cinema into a luxury commercial space and offices, was designed by the Loci Anima architecture agency.
