A major building of 1970s slab architecture in the heart of the Beaugrenelle district in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, the Mercure III building is undergoing an important renovation while retaining its architectural identity.
In order to host a new establishment open to the public, the restructuring operation is a complete modernization combining technical performance, user comfort, safety with new environmental standards. The building will get two amphitheatres and a 190-seat auditorium, a resource center, a cafeteria, training rooms and an administrative section.
The atelier Chaix & Morel has been mandated to direct the renovation.
Clarity is in charge of acoustic studies, site supervision work and reception measurements and all the problems of the noises of building sites.
